The garden which is still under-construction is believed to be attracting visitors from different areas due to its changing temperature and unusual geography. Travelers are also likely to visit the area to enjoy the landscape from the hill.
Mountains including Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Sisne, Jaljala, and Dhaulagiri can be viewed for the hill. The construction of the country's highest view tower is also underway near the rock garden. Chairperson of Ropla Municipality, Puran KC shared the plans to develop the garden as one of the popular tourist spots in the area. “We are working on a master plan and target to attract as many as national and international tourists possible to the newly built garden,” said KC. The garden was constructed with a budget of Rs 319,000 from the general public, Rs 950,000 from the Division Forest Office and Rs 350,000 from the municipality. The garden is spread in about two hectares of land. The locals are hopeful that it will contribute to boost tourism and the livelihoods of people if the area is promoted and preserved at its best.
“The garden is quite innovative as various colorful rocks are mixed with cement and concrete and creatively designed for attraction,” said Dil Bahadur Gharti, a local.
