RJPN leader Thakur enters Indian Embassy after meeting with Deuba

KATHMANDU, July 4: A member of the presidium formed under the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPM) Mahantha Thakur has met with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday evening.

The other four leaders of the presidium of the RJPN are now waiting for a response from the Embassy which is expected to give a shape to the decision of the party.

According to a source, the RJPN, which is unhappy with the constitution and boycotted the local level elections,  will take a future political course once Thakur returns with the message of the Indian Embassy.

At a time when the rumor is doing round that the RJPN will back off its support to the government, RJPN leader Thakur and Deubb held a meeting.

According to a source, Thakur went straight to Indian Embassy, Lainchaur following a 40-miniute –long meeting with Deuba at the latter’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Currently, Thakur is holding discussion with the officials of the Indian Embassy.
