RJP-Nepal holds Janakpur Sub-metropolis

JANAKPUR, September 24: Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) Nepal has won the mayoral post of Janakpur Sub-metropolitan City with more than ten thousand vote margin.

JANAKPUR, September 24: Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) Nepal has won the mayoral post of Janakpur Sub-metropolitan City with more than ten thousand vote margin. With the final vote result, Lal Kishore Shah of RJP has garnered 21,903 votes. His immediate rival Manoj Kumar Shah of Nepali Congress (NC) secured 11,164 votes.

Likewise, Rita Jha of RJP has been elected as Deputy-mayor with 17,148 votes whereas her immediate rival Nilam Karna of NC received 10,605 votes.
