Nepali national cricket team Vice Captain Gyanendra Malla formally launched the website www.rjsportsnepal.com during a program organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday.After launching the website, Gyanendra lauded the online store as a good step to provide online shopping facilities as it saves time as well as fulfills the demands of sports fans from any corner of the globe to buy their desired sports kits.
"Whenever the national cricket team travels to foreign country for cricket tournaments, fans ask us how they could get jersey. We cannot provide them Nepal's cricket jersey since it is neither available abroad nor there was any online shopping facility in the past. But the launch of the online shopping by RJ will fulfill their quest of donning the national team's jersey in future," said Gyanendra.
Currently, RJ Sports has targeted to provide the facility in Kathmandu valley and Australia. It will sell jersey of cricket, football, volleyball, basketball and other sports kits, according to Janak Neupane, managing director of RJ Sports.
"We are planning to expand it across the whole country in few months. We believe that online shopping will our products easily available for sports fans inside and outside the country," Neupane shared.
Similarly, Sanjiv Mishra, the co-general secretary and development director of All Nepal Football Association, said that RJ Sports has great contribution in Nepali sports sector as it has been providing sports kits to all associations.
Nepal Sports Journalist Forum President Ajay Phuyal said that developing online store was appropriate as demanded by the current age.
RJ sports has been actively involved in production of sports kits on its own since last seven years and has two outlets in the capital. It is one of the authorized dealers of cricket kits of the national cricket team.
