Risk of erosion, landslide and debris flow in rivers and streams

KATHMANDU, July 15: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that there is a risk of erosion, landslides and debris flow as well as rising water level in various rivers and streams. They might affect daily life and transport.

KATHMANDU, July 15: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that there is a risk of erosion, landslides and debris flow as well as rising water level in various rivers and streams. They might affect daily life and transport.  


“There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places of Province 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province and Sudur Pashchim Province,” the Division warned.

There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places of Province 1 in hilly terrain. The Division has asked all people to take necessary precautions. 


The weather today will remain generally to mostly cloudy throughout the country. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur in many places of the country.
