Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is holding the event to select players for the closed-camp training for the ICC U-19 World Cup to be held in Bangladesh from January 22 to February 14.Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Team Red scored 249/10 in 49.3 overs with Yogendra's unbeaten 125 runs off 138 balls.
Yogendra, who hit 17 boundaries, completed his century facing 114 balls.
Amrit Thapa scored 24 runs and Aadil Khan contributed 21 runs for Team Red.
Nandan Yadav bagged four wickets, while Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi and Aakash Bista claimed two wickets each for Team Green.
In reply, Team Green was bowled out for 122 runs in 33.2 overs with Rajbir Singh remaining not out on 38 runs off 65 balls and Bhim Sarki scoring 21 runs from 35 balls.
Sandeep Lamichhane claimed the highest three wickets, while Sagar Budhathoki, Sunil Dhamala and Arjun Saud picked up two wickets each for Team Red.
CAN has divided 42 players into three groups for the event. Among them, 18 players -- 14 regular and four reserved players -- who represented in the ICC U-19 World Cup Qualifiers have also been divided into different teams. The remaining players were chosen from different regions.
