Resolving Kathmandu Valley’s solid waste problems
He said, "I am not only drawing the attention of the Prime Minister and the ministry. This is also the responsibility of the leaders who are leading the coalition. Therefore, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that you all have an important role in the waste management of the valley.”
Rai also mentioned that Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol would assist the newly-elected Mayor Balen Shah in the work of the metropolis. He said, "I would like to say to the newly-elected Mayor Balen Shah that Sunita Dangol, the Deputy Mayor, will cooperate with you unlike the past Deputy Mayor who did not cooperate with Bidhya Sundar Shakya.
