KATHMANDU, July 30: Nepal Police personnel and waste management team of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) have cleared garbage from the road after local residents blocked the road that was strewn with waste in Saraswatinagar area in Kapan on Saturday.

The local residents had staged protests as a waste collecting vehicle took a single load of garbage and asked them to manage the waste by themselves until another tip arrives for collecting it.
