Around 300 doctors affiliated with the Residents Association of NAMS started five-day protests on Wednesday and threatened to provide even emergency services from August 31 if their demands were not met. But they stopped providing emergency services from 5 p.m. on Thursday.
“We staged a sit-in in front of the VC´s (vice chancellor) office since morning (Thursday) but nobody came forward for dialogue. So, we stopped providing emergency services from today to seek early resolution,” said spokesperson for the association Dr Arbin Joshi.
