Republica, Nagarik mark 100-day celebration

KATHMANDU, Aug 1: Nepal Republic Media Private Limited marked 100-day celebration of the publications of its dailies -- Republica and Nagarik -- amidst a special function at Hotel Soaltee Plaza in the capital on Saturday.

Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala, Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) vice chair Dr Baburam Bhattarai, senior leaders of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist), justices of the Supreme Court, Chief Secretary Madhav Prasad Ghimire and other bureaucrats, businessmen, diplomats, writers, civil society leaders, artists, senior police officers were among those who attended the function.
