At a Deusi-Bhailo program organized by the Reporters' Club today, DPM Gachchhadar said that dialogue would be held between the top leaders of the agitating parties and major political parties after Tihar.
Stating that the existing problem has surfaced due to refusal of draft of eight-point provinces submitted by him, the DPM determined that the Madhesh-problem would not be settled until revision in delineation of federal states.
Gachchhadar, who has been endorsing the concept of two provinces in Madhesh, stretching from Mechi to Mahakali, pledged that three major political parties will be involved for demarcating the federal states.
Stating that all political parties should be serious towards resolving the country’s crisis, the DPM argued that the resolution should be sought through the amendment of new constitution.
He was of the opinion that the relations between Nepal and India had grown lukewarm over the period and sit-in protest staged by Nepalis in the border point had caused tensions to the country.
“There is no alternative to unity and amity amongst one and all,” Gachchhadar remarked. RSS
