RAJBIRAJ, Feb 4: As many as 900 flood-affected families have been provided with various relief materials at Sakarpura of Tilathi Koiladi rural municipality in Saptari distric on Saturday.
The relief goods were distributed to these families under the flood-affected Support Programme run in partnership of the Government of Nepal, China Aid, UNDP and Sabal Nepal.

Prameshwar Jha of Sabal Nepal said each family was given Supanet (mosquito net treated with mosquito repellent chemical), cooking stove, blankets, water filter, big bucket, soap and brush among other materials.
Thousands of houses in the settlement were swept away by massive flood in August last year.
Meanwhile, the Dharmi Halfa Women Development Club, a local NGO, distributed warm clothes to 101 helpless and disabled people living in destitution and vulnerable to cold at Rajbiraj Municipality-13 on Saturday. The warm clothes were provided with the support of Help Nepal Network, Club president Surya Narayan Yadav said.(RSS)
