Frontline journalists provided with relief materials

KATHMANDU, June 19: More than 70 journalists reporting from the frontline of the efforts to combat COVID-19 were provided relief materials as a support to combat the pandemic on Friday.

KATHMANDU, June 19: More than 70 journalists reporting from the frontline of the efforts to combat COVID-19 were provided relief materials as a support to combat the pandemic on Friday.


Biniparapa Sewakai Mission Nepal and Nepal Christian Relief Service in a joint collaboration of Mercy Mission Media provided food and sanitation supplies to more than 70 journalists actively working in the Kathmandu Valley.

Journalists are among the worst-hit frontliners by the COVID-19 pandemic.


The beneficiaries were mostly from Lalitpur district.


The relief package consists of daily essential supplies like Rice, Dal and other foodstuffs including some sanitary materials.
