‘Red Blood, Blue Blood and the Royal Heart’ launched

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Arati Basnet’s ‘Red Blood, Blue Blood and the Royal Heart’ was released on Friday in Kathmandu. This is Basnet’s first book and was launched amidst a special function attended by dignitaries, people from different walks of life and a circle of friends as per a press statement released by the author. The book was released by spiritual leader Swami Anand Arun and renowned Nepali actor Nir Shah.

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Arati Basnet’s ‘Red Blood, Blue Blood and the Royal Heart’ was released on Friday in Kathmandu. This is Basnet’s first book and was launched amidst a special function attended by dignitaries, people from different walks of life and a circle of friends as per a press statement released by the author. The book was released by spiritual leader Swami Anand Arun and renowned Nepali actor Nir Shah.


It added that the book comprises a real story from the closet of Nepal’s royal family and the spiritual journey of the author. It explores the writer’s connection and attachment with the royal family, particularly the Late Princess Prekshya Shah. Her journey to becoming an energy healer is also mentioned in the book.

Addressing the ceremony, Swami Anand Arun said that he is highly impressed by the book and spiritual content written by such a young author. “I have already read the book and realized that not everyone can understand this book. It needs a spiritual mind and understanding. It is an interesting read”, quoted the press statement.


Apart from the speech, Swami Arun also conducted a short meditation session with the audiences. On the occasion, Nir Shah shared about various aspects of the royal family, especially about the Late Princess Prekshya Shah and her relationships as per the press statement. He highly praised the author for reflecting her childhood memories and transforming herself into an energy healer. “This book is the story of my life. I was a red blood, a commoner before I met the blue blood; Princess Prekshya Shah, who turned me into the person with a royal heart. I am a healer today who does her best to give back to the world more than she takes in. I will continue healing people,” the writer quoted.


The book is published by India’s Kharag Warya Publishing House, and is written in English.
