RBN issues 35-day notice demanding payment from six construction companies

KATHMANDU, Feb 29: The Roads Board Nepal (RBN) has issued a notice demanding payment from six construction companies. The RBN has issued a notice requesting companies to settle outstanding dues, monthly installments, damages, and value-added tax.

The companies owe Rs 65.8 million to the RBN. However, when these companies failed to make the payments, the board identified an error during the audit. Consequently, the RBN has issued a notice instructing the concerned construction companies to settle the outstanding amount within 35 days.


The outstanding amounts owed by various builders include Rs 33.6 million to Britannica Maula Kalika Construction and Suppliers, Rs 380,000 to Babul Construction Services, Rs 1.8 million to Mahadev Khimti Construction Services, Rs 2.7 million to Ravina Construction Company, Rs 28 million to MM Construction Company, and Rs 6.4 million to Tundi Construction Company, totaling Rs 65.8 million, which remains unpaid to the RBN.
