KATHMANDU, June 24: Rastriya Swatantra Party President Ravi Lamichhane and Nepal Good Governance Party President Ramesh Kharel have held a meeting to forge cooperation in the upcoming election.
During the meeting held on Friday, Lamichhane and Kharel are learnt to have discussed contemporary politics and ways to forge cooperation in the upcoming provincial and federal election.
Ramesh Kharel, who is also a former DIG of Nepal Police, is preparing to contest from Kathmandu-1 in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Similarly, Lamichhane recently quit his journalism career to contest elections.
According to the Nepal Good Governance Party, Ravi and Kharel had ‘positive discussions’ on cooperation in their future political journey.
