CJ Raut faces challenges ahead to restore public trust
The party submitted all documents required for registration and presented a name list of 35 central committee members asking officials to verify the details before formally registering the party. In the party’s document, Raut has mentioned that people’s sovereignty, democracy, social justice and socialism are the party’s core principles of his party.
The party has expressed commitment to respect Nepal’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Raut, who had been carrying out secessionists activities in the southern plains, had renounced the movement after signing an 11-point agreement with the government in March.
