Three Rastriya Swatantra Party candidates elected HoR members from Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidates have been elected as members of House of Representatives (HoR) from three constituencies in Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidates have been elected as members of House of Representatives (HoR) from three constituencies in Kathmandu.


RSP candidates Sobita Gautam, Ganesh Parajuli and Biraj Bhakta Shrestha have been elected as HoR members from Kathmandu 2, 7 and 8, respectively.

In Kathmandu-2, Gautam secured a total of 15,229 votes, while her nearest rival Mani Ram Phuyal of CPN-UML secured 11,555 votes.


Similarly, RSP candidate Parajuli in Kathmandu-7 got 8,743 votes. His nearest rival Shiva Kumar Ghimire of UML got 6,800 votes. Manushi Yami Bhattarai of Maoist Center was able to secure just 6063 votes. 


Similarly in Kathmandu-8, RSP candidate Biraj Bhakta Shrestha secured 10,105 votes while his nearest rival Suman Sayami of Hamro Nepali Party got 6,174 votes.
