KATHMANDU, Jan 1: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has staged a mass demonstration in Kathmandu on Friday, demanding the restoration of constitutional monarchy and Hindu state in Nepal.
Leaders and cadres of the RPP are currently holding an assembly at Ratnapark-- the heart of the capital city. The protest march which began from Bhrikutimandap walked past Sundhara, Bir Hospital before converging into an assembly at Ratnapark.
RPP Chairpersons Kamal Thapa, Pashupati SJB Rana and Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani are scheduled to address the assembly.
Apart from that, the party is against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's act of dissolving the House of Representatives.
