Suresh Kumar Yadav, 19, of Chikana-3 was arrested on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl of the same locality, police inspector Gyan Kumar Mahato of the District Police Office, Lahan, informed. Acting on a tip off, police arrested Yadav who was in hiding in the same village. In her police statement, the victim has said Yadav raped her while she had gone out to graze her buffaloes.
