DHANUSHA, Dec 6: The Ram Janaki Bibaha Panchami festival, which is observed in Janakpur every year, concluded on Monday.
The week-long Bibaha Panchami concluded after offering Ramkalewa (Mithila food) and Dakshina (cash offerings) to guests visiting from Ayodhyay and Ram Temple of India. They had arrived in Janakpur on Sunday.
The marriage ceremony of Ram and Sita that is believed to have taken place in then Mithila state was enacted as per Mithila rituals on Sunday night. RSS
