KATHMANDU, June 1: Rainstorm is predicted in most of the places across the country including the capital city Kathmandu owing to general weather change caused by a westerly wind, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
The rain coupled with thunderstorm will occur after the afternoon today.
Rainfall predicted for three days
A meteorologist at the Division, Manju Basi said the cloudy weather and rainstorm are normal during pre-monsoon. The rain is caused as the pre-monsoon and low-pressure belt in the east are getting active.
Similarly, rainfall is forecast throughout the country for Sunday As per the late record, Kathmandu Valley has minimum temperature measuring 19 degrees Celsius while maximum 29 degrees Celsius. Nepalgunj is the hottest place recording maximum of 40 degrees Celsius.
