KATHMANDU, Aug 14: There is currently the influence of the monsoon wind in Nepal. The monsoon low pressure line is located in the northern part closer to Nepal. This morning, the weather is normal to completely cloudy across the country and light rain is falling at a few places in Gandaki, Karnali and hilly areas of Sudurpaschim Province, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
There will be partial to general rains across the country on Monday afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places in the hilly areas of the country including the Far Western Province and at a few places in the rest of the provinces, according to the MFD. There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces.
Light rainfall predicted in some parts of the country today
The weather will be normal to completely cloudy across the country tonight. Light to moderate rain is expected at some places in Koshi and Gandaki and few places in the rest of the provinces.
