KATHMANDU, March 29: The country continues to experience rainfall today, with forecasts indicating precipitation in various regions. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology the influence of local winds is currently affecting the weather patterns in Nepal.

Since this morning, the skies have been partly to mostly cloudy across the nation. According to the MFD, light rain is falling in one or two places in the hilly areas of Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.

According to the MFD, it will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country, and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

There is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at one or two places in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in hilly and mountainous areas of the country.

The weather will be partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly parts of the country and partly cloudy to mostly clear in the rest of the country tonight. According to the MFD, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Gandaki Province and Karnali Province.
