The locals, who were rendered homeless after the quake, are facing hardships to prepare their daily meals due to lack of LP gas, oven and firewood in the rainy season.Chairman of Rasuwa Civil Society Babulal Tamang said that the quake-hit communities are left high and dry due to lack of the cooking gas. The locals have urged the stakeholders and suppliers to make arrangements to avail the LP gas and oven as using firewood for cooking was unlikely under the tarpaulins and plastic tents.
It is said that 99 per cent of the houses in the district have been collapsed in the quake and a large number of folks from Haku, Dadagaun, Thulogaun, Syaphru, Langtang and others are displaced. All the displaced families are living under the tarpaulins in the nearby farm. RSS
