Qatari King invites PM Oli to attend 'Asia Cooperation Dialogue' conference

KATHMANDU, Aug 14: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has received an invitation from the King of Qatar to attend the 'Asia Cooperation Dialogue' (ACD) conference scheduled to take place in Qatar next October.

KATHMANDU, Aug 14: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has received an invitation from the King of Qatar to attend the 'Asia Cooperation Dialogue' (ACD) conference scheduled to take place in Qatar next October.


The invitation was delivered by the Qatari Ambassador to Nepal, Misal Mohamed Al-Ansari, who met with Prime Minister Oli on Tuesday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

The ACD Forum includes 35 member countries, including Nepal, which has been a member since 2016. The 19th ministerial meeting of the forum was held on June 24, 2024, in Iran.


During the meeting, discussions were held on mutual interests and relations between Qatar and Nepal. Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also participated in the discussions.
