Qatar Airways receives award

KATHMANDU, Sept 20: Qatar Airways has received the 'Best Up in the Air Experience' award at the Future Travel Experience Awards for the second consecutive year. The award ceremony was held in Las Vegas.

The Best Up in the Air Experience award commends leading airlines that are committed to continually advancing the passenger experience, a statement issued by the Doha-based carrier said.

"Qatar Airways was recognized as the airline that has gone the extra mile to provide an industry leading in-flight experience," the statement said. "Qatar Airways operates the Airbus A350, enhancing its in-flight entertainment system with the launch of the award-winning Oryx One, continuing to roll out on-board Wi-Fi across its fleet, and investing in Cabin Crew development, including emotional intelligence training and elite service training, tailored to the needs of premium passengers," it added.
