Qatar Airways honors trade partners

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: Qatar Airways honored its top trade partners by organizing Qatar Airways Agents Award Night 2014-15 in Kathmandu on Thursday. It honored Osho World Nepal with Platinum Award, Megabyte Travels & Tours with Gold Award, Yeti Travles with Silver Award and Sumegh Tours & Travels with Burgundy Award.


"This year, a special award was introduced this year for the business class seller - Premium Award, which was won by Yeti Travels," the Doha-based carrier said in a press release.

Ambassador of Qatar to Nepal Ahmed Jasem AL Hamar, and Qatar Airways Acting Country Manager Rohan Bhadgaonkar and Airport Manager Debendranath Mallick gave away five trophies and 18 certificates in various categories.


Qatar Airways travel trade partners, Qatar Embassy delegates and representatives from Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) and Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) were present at the program. Qatar Airways operates three flights daily from Kathmandu to Doha and connects Nepal to over 151 destinations worldwide.


It is currently flying a modern fleet of 162 aircraft to 151 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
