After taking oath from NEFTA’s Patron Basundhara Bhusal, the newly elected President stated that the professional welfare of technicians will be his main agenda.
Hari Regmi ‘Arun’ and Ganesh Sapkota were jointly elected in the post of the Association’s Vice President. Likewise, Suraj Acharya, Shankar Pande, and Geeta Poudel were respectively voted for the posts of General Secretary, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Speaking at a function held after the election, Lama also said, “Besides working for the welfare of film technicians, my agenda also includes globalizing Nepali cinema. I’ll also work towards providing identity cards, appropriate wage, rights and dignity to all technicians.”
Manoj KC, immediate past president of NEFTA, observed that the election was held peacefully. Congratulating the newly elected work committee, he promised to always assist the team.
