KATHMANDU, July 23: The 37th memorial day of the founder general secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal, Pushpa Lal Shrestha, is being marked with various programs across the country on Thursday.

The communist party was formed under his leadership of leader Shrestha in 2006 BS in Nepal.
He added that the UML has gone ahead by assimilating the principles of leader Shrestha and it has helped the party to be competitive, progressive and anti feudalist during 66 years of communist party's establishment.
Chairman Oli added that a new constitution would be issued very soon as the country has gone through eight years' ups and downs after the establishment of republicanism in the country. The new constitution would institutionalize the different achievements of people’s movements, he said.
Similarly, UML's student wing All Nepal National Free Students' Union (ANNFSU) has organized a colloquium at the Pushpa Lal Memorial Park at Champadevi in the capital. RSS
