Property worth Rs 15m gutted

BIRATNAGAR, April 5: A fire at Pioneer Wire Pvt Ltd,  in Biratnagar sub-metropolis, Tankisinuwari-6, Morang, on Sunday afternoon destroyed property worth Rs 15 million.



Sub-inspector Ganesh Gahamagar of the Unit Police Office said the fire had broke out because of a short circuit and that it had destroyed wires and machinery at the company.



According to Shyamsundar Sarada of Pioneer Wire, the fire was brought under control with help of the police, the armed police force and the Biratnagar and Itahari fire brigades.
