Property worth Rs 130,000 robbed in Balkhu

KATHMANDU, Sept 24: Property worth Rs 130,000 was stolen from Bright international Institute at Bajaj showroom building based at Balkhu of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14 Thursday night.



Police said the robbers took away five LCD computer monitors and four CPUs from the institute.



Police Sub-inspector Govinda Khadka of the Metropolitan Police Sector, Balkhu, said it has been learnt that four robbers took the property by putting in a vehicle. Number of the vehicle has not been ascertained as yet.



Khadka said police arrested Raju Shrestha, a guard in the showroom, for necessary investigation into the case.



Two arrested with 1 quintal marijauna



PARSA, Sept 24: Police dispatched from Sirsiya Police Post Office, Prasa, arrested two people and an Indian number plate car with one quintal Marijuana.



A police team led by Devendra Pandit, assistant sub-inspector of the post seized the Marijuana Friday morning.



Police said Indian national Bhutaram Chamar, car driver, and Ram Kumar Ray Yadav of Mahuban-8 of Parsa district were arrested.

Parsa Police Chief Rajendraman Shrestha said action against them is forwarded by keeping them in custody.
