The inferno that spread from the house of Krishna Bahadur Magar, a local, gutted the properties worth Rs 900,000, said Krishna Poudel, Inspector at the District Police Office Udaypur.
The fire was taken under control within an hour with the help of locals, said police.
Likewise, the inferno that spread at Amardaha VDC-7, Gandhi Aashram in Morang district on Saturday evening gutted a house building along with jewelries and other belongings.
The house of Prakash Yadav got destroyed in a fire that broke out due to short circuit, said Morang District Police Office. The fire destroyed the the properties worth Rs 700,000 in the fire incident, said a local eye-witness.
The fire was taken under control with the help of locals, said police.
