The three districts in the Valley --- Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur --- have imposed week-long prohibitory orders starting Thursday in an apparent bid to stem the transmission chain of the novel coronavirus disease.
A Cabinet meeting held earlier this week authorised the local administrations to enforce prohibitory orders if the number of active cases cross 200 in hill districts and 500 in those districts located in the Valley and Tarai.
