Professionals employed in civil service, local development bodies, corporations, banks and educational institutions carried out the cautionary protest on the call of Confederation of Nepalese Professionals (CONEP).[break]
Professionals at hospitals protested by wearing black armbands, according to release issued by CONEP. CONEP claimed that professionals observed the protest in 70 districts.
CONEP is the confederation of 24 professional associations.
