KATHMANDU, June 16: Several pro-Hindu organizations have decided to organize a series of protests against the proposed Guthi bill from the government. Organizing a press meet on Sunday in the capital, the international committee of the World Hindu Youth Union informed that the organization will organize the series of protest against the controversial bill starting from Monday itself.
The organization has decided to submit a memorandum to the government through the DAOs, to organize mass meet at Pashupati Nath temple premise, to ring the bells in all temples across the country for 10 minutes among others.

According to the committee general secretary Roshan Jung Basnet, the organization has decided to organize a mass rally at Basantapur and to hold an interactive dialogue with the stakeholders. Likewise, the organization has announced a general strike in Kathmandu valley on June 25 if the government keeps on ignoring their demand.
Speaking at the program, chairperson of World Hindu Federation, Nepal Dr Ram Chandra Adhikari warned the government of massive protest if it would not withdraw the bill which is against the norms of country’s religion and culture.
