JANAKPURDHAM, June 24: All private schools of the district have been shut down for an indefinite period saying District Education Office, Dhanusha has ignored private schools in the context of forming education committee.

The bandh of private schools was announced by various organizations of private schools.

They launched agitation in protest of the incorporation of public school representative in place that of private schools in education committee against education regulation, said Raj Kumar Jha of Private Schools’ Organization.

The bandh, agitation and sit-in will continue till genuine representatives are included in the committee, he added.

The Office has nurtured nepotism by nominating Gyankunja secondary school Principal Sanjaya Jha as a representative from private schools in the committee, he added.
