'Private school students should not get govt scholarship'

JHAPA, Jan 1: Chairman of the All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R), Himal Sharma, has said the permanent teachers and professors giving more priority to the private colleges would be taken action by smearing soot from January 15.



He said the ANNISU-R would stop registration of new private schools and all the private schools across the country would be run through cooperatives within five years. [break]



Sharma warned of shutting down the private schools that refuse to come under the cooperatives.



He said from January 15 arrangement to teach the children of all leaders and government officials in the public schools would be managed and such campaign would be started from the Maoist leaders.



Sharma was of the opinion that the students pursuing their studies in the private schools should not be provided with any kind of government scholarships instead students from only public schools should be given such opportunities.
