KHOTANG, March 21: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to visit Khotang today. 

He is coming to Khotang to inaugurate a motorable concrete bridge constructed over the Sapsu River with an investment from Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality. 

Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to inaugurate the motorable bridge at noon today, said the rural municipality’s Chair Bhupendra Rai. The Prime Minister is scheduled to return to Kathmandu after the inauguration. 

The concrete bridge located at the border of Mazhuwagadi Municipality-4, Khalle and Diprung Chuichumma Municipality-1, Yamkha was completed at the cost of Rs 56 million. 

The bridge over the Sapsu River will serve as the shortest road connecting the southern region from Diktel Bazar, the main business center of the district.

After the construction of the bridge, the locals of Diprung Chuichumma, Khotehang, Jantedhunga and Baraha Pokhari have been able to commute and transport their daily necessities.
