Prime Minister Deuba leaves for India

KATHMANDU, April 1: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has left for New Delhi, India, for a three-day official visit. Prime Minister Deuba left for Delhi leading a Nepali delegation including four ministers.

KATHMANDU, April 1: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has left for New Delhi, India, for a three-day official visit. Prime Minister Deuba left for Delhi leading a Nepali delegation including four ministers.


He was seen off by a Nepal Army team at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Speaker Agni Sapkota, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and others were present at the airport to bid farewell to the Prime Minister.

He will land at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi at 2:50 PM (local time).


He will then stay at the ITC Maurya Hotel in Chanakyapuri. Deuba is scheduled to meet Indian Minister for External Affairs S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval at 4:30 PM today.


Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to hold talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Saturday. Deuba is scheduled to visit Varanasi on Sunday and return home on the same day.
