KATHMANDU, March 7: The price of gold set a new record in the domestic market on Thursday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold has been fixed at 125,000 per tola and that of standard gold at Rs 124,400 per tola.
Fine gold was traded at Rs 123,500 per tola on Wednesday and standard gold at Rs 122,900 per tola on Wednesday.
Today, silver is being traded at Rs 1,470 per tola. Earlier on Wednesday, the price of silver remained at Rs 1,440 per tola.
