Prez urges Honorary Consuls Generals to promote Nepal’s national interests

KATHMANDU, March 29: President Ramchandra Paudel has urged honorary Consuls General and Consulates from various countries to work in the larger interests of Nepal and Nepali people.

KATHMANDU, March 29: President Ramchandra Paudel has urged honorary Consuls General and Consulates from various countries to work in the larger interests of Nepal and Nepali people. 


During his meeting with honorary Consuls General who reached the Office of the President, Shital Niwas this morning to pay  a courtesy call on the head of the state, President Paudel argued that honorary consul generals and consulates are expected to contribute to further strengthening the bilateral relations by promoting the interests of the nation.

Dinesh Shrestha, on behalf of Honorary Consuls General, apprised the President that they were dedicated to strengthening socio-economic and cultural relations with the respective countries and promote Nepal's tourism sector. 


The delegation congratulated Paudel on his election as the President of Nepal and wished him a successful tenure.
