As he landed at Xian Airport Wednesday evening, officials of Shaanxi Province received Dr Yadav and his entourage. [break]
According to an official, Yadav held a half-an-hour meeting with the executive governor of the province at Hotel Shangrila where the presidential entourage stayed.
The president reiterated Nepal´s one-China policy to the governor and requested Chinese help to complete the peace process and for the development of infrastructure, according to Nepali ambassador Tanka Karki, who is accompanying the president.
In response, the governor higlighted that Nepal and Xiaan province can exchange cooperation in the field of tourism, agriculture, hydro-technology and industry. After the meeting, Dr Yadav attended a dinner hosted by the governor.
Earlier, before leaving for Xian on Wednesday afternoon, the president visited the Potala Palace, a place of historic, archaeological and religious importance, in Lhasa.
