"I´ve expected that Nepal Sambat 1134 would promote tolerance, social unity and harmony thereby developing mutual understanding and feeling of brotherhood," said President Dr Yadav in the best wishes message.[break]
In the message, the President also expressed belief that every Nepali would carry out his/her duty to make the November 19 election successful.
Similarly, Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Khil Raj Regmi, has given a best wishes message to all Nepali brothers and sisters on the occasion of Nepal Sambat 1134.
"Among the festivals, the Nepal Sambat, the new year introduced by the national luminary Shankhadhwar Sakhwa has a special significance especially in Newari community," Chairman Regmi said in the message, adding that the festivals in the multi-cultural country not only establish cultural values, but help in socio-economic transformation.
The message further stated that the only target we had at present was to make the November 19 election to the Constituent Assembly successful because the new constitution was essential to address people´s needs and aspiration and political stability in the country.
The Chairman also called all Nepalis to exercise voting rights in the CA election which is being held in a free, fair and credible atmosphere.
Similarly, he wished peace, prosperity and happiness among all Nepali communities on the occasion of the Nepal Sambat 1134.
