KATHMANDU, Feb 24: Nepal Press Union Friday said its attention was drawn to the fast-unto-death staged by Lavdev Dhungana and Prem Adhikari.
Dhungana is the president of the FNJ Panchthar district chapter while Adhikari is the member of the FNJ Ilam district chapter.
The journalist duo has staged the hunger strike for three days in front of the central office of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), demanding for the fair investigation into the FNJ membership distribution.
The Union, issuing a press release today, has shown its solidarity over the demands of the two journalists and has urged the FNJ leadership to be responsible toward their concerns.
FNJ is the umbrella organization of Nepali journalists. RSS
