In a message of greetings released by the Office of the President Sunday, President Dr Yadav said we have been involving in a great campaign of making new constitution for three years. So, it is the present need that the Nepalis from varied caste, communities and regions should devote to this campaign. [break]
If we are united, we can be successful in this campaign, President Dr Yadav added.
He further wished the Nepal Sambat 1130 provided energy to all Nepalis to maintain concord among all.
PM extends his greetings
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal today extended best wishes to all Nepalis on the occasion of the Nepal Sambat 1130.
In a message of greetings, PM Nepal said we, Nepalis of varied culture, language and ethnic communities have been living in a harmonious environment since ancient time in our independent country, Nepal.
As the Nepal Sambat is the native calendar established by the Nepalis, we should protect and promote it, PM Nepal said, wishing unity, concord and cooperation among all in the country on the occasion of Nepal Sambat 1130. He also wished everyone for the concentrated and concerted efforts for the completion of peace process and writing of new constitution on time.
Koirala, Thapa also greet people
Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala has extended greetings to all the Nepalese brothers and sisters on the occasion of the new year of Nepal Sambat 1130.
Giving a message on the occasion, President Koirala said Nepal Sambat (era) has its own historical significance as it was started by Shankhadhar Sakhwa for freeing the common people of their debts.
Likewise, Rastriya Janashakti Party Chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa while greeting all at home and abroad on the occasion of the Nepal Sambat (era) and Deepawali- 2066 BS wished that this day inspire us all and encourage for peace, stability and prosperity.
