President Paudel, PM Dahal and other leaders express grief over Nembang's demise

KATHMANDU, Sept 12: President Ram Chandra Paudel expressed grief over the untimely demise of Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairperson Subas Nembang.

KATHMANDU, Sept 12: President Ram Chandra Paudel expressed grief over the untimely demise of Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairperson Subas Nembang. 


The President said he was aggrieved and shocked by the unexpected demise of Nembang. In a tweet, President Paudel expressed his tribute to Nembang and extended deep condolences to the grief-stricken Nembang family, pro-republicans and his party, CPN-UML.

Similarly, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said he was stunned by the passing of Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairperson and former Speaker Subas Nembang. Reaching the Maharajgunj-based TU Teaching Hospital this morning, Prime Minister Dahal paid tributes to Nembang and extended condolences to the grief-stricken family members. CPN-UML vice-chairperson Nembang died of heart attack this morning


Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba also said he was aggrieved and shocked by the untimely demise of Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairperson and CPN-UML Vice-Chairperson Subas Nembang. 


Taking to Twitter, Deuba wished for the eternal peace of his soul and expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.


Likewise, Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has paid tribute to Nembang who breathed his last this morning. Former Prime Minister Nepal reached the Maharajgunj-based Teaching Hospital this morning to mourn the passing of Nembang and pay tribute.
