KATHMANDU, March 10: President-elect Ram Chandra Paudel performed worship and paid homage at the Pashupatinath Temple Friday morning. He also received prasad (food offered to god) on the occasion.
Before this, Paudel paid homage at the Guhyeshwari Temple. He is scheduled to visit the BP Museum at Sundarijal after concluding the puja.
At the BP Museum, he will garland the statues of Nepal's first elected Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) founding President BP Koirala among other leaders. He will also observe the museum.

President-elect Paudel will also go to Swayambhunath for paying homage and performing puja today.
Former Speaker Paudel was elected as the third president of the country on Thursday, defeating his contender Subash Chandra Nembang by more than double votes.
Paudel will take the oath of office and secrecy on March 13.
