KATHMANDU, May 3: President Bidya Devi Bhandari is unveiling the policies and programs of the government for the fiscal 2019-2020 today afternoon.
Bhandari will read out the text of the annual policies and programs during the joint session of the House of Representatives and National Assembly at 4 pm at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneswor.

The Parliament Secretariat stated that the there will be discussions over the policies and programs on May 6 and 7. Before endorsing the policies and programs of the government, Prime Minister KP Sharma will answer the questions raised by the parliament members regarding the same.
The government is planning to unveil the fiscal year budget on May 29. Prior to this, the pre-budget discussion will be held.
