President Bhandari inaugurates lift

POKHARA, March 7: President Bidya Devi Bhandari inaugurated a lift installed at the Bindhyabasini temple amidst a programme here today.
The lift has been constructed for the convenience of the older persons and persons with disability coming for worshipping at the temple. The lift has been constructed at a cost of Rs 10 million under the aegis of Hyundai Motor Company, South Korea and the Laxmi Group Nepal.
The 60 feet tall lift can transport up to 12 people at one time. Its weight carrying capacity is 680 kilogrammes.
President Bhandari also paid homage to goddess Bindhyabasini, lord Ganesha and Mahadev within the temple precincts on the occasion. RSS
